It was only a few years ago that I first discovered who Busted were and sadly that was after they split up, however it was my friend who played Air Hostess and Crashed the Wedding one day while walking home that i was introduced to there music.
THEN, McBusted was formed in 2013. This was when I really fell in love with Busted's music, but Charlie Simpson was not part of it. This didn't sit well with many fans however they still managed to make an album and go on 2 tours. Not forgetting they also supported One Direction on tour in Australia. I thought McBusted was still happening until......
This video was announced and Busted were officially back. Not only for a tour but to make new music!
So my thoughts on this is that I am over the moon with this as they all look very happy about reforming the band and I am super excited to see how there new music has changed from the old classics, such as Year 3000, as they are now older. I am also very happy that they aren't just coming back for a tour and then leaving, they are making an album and hopefully many more.
The one video i cannot stop watching is the Abbey Road session. They sound amazing together...Still
This song alone can make me cry but hearing the new version and hearing how different they sound to the original is something special. this is because there voices still fit perfectly together.
There have been many things being said as to why Charlie Simpson changed his mind and decided to rejoin the band. For example one person had said that he didn't have any money and now that he has a child (who is adorable) will need the money. Others have said its because he saw they amount of fame McBusted gained, that his other band Fightstar weren't getting. My opinion is that these are just rumors and I believe he came back because he wanted to make music with James and Matt again. He also said in a interview that when him and James went into a studio, before they thought about a reunion just to write and see how things turned out and the music turned out pretty good... leading to Busted being reformed!!
