We Have Some Jokers to Discuss…

From left: Q, Murr, Joe and Sal

The Tenderloins

The Tenderloins are a comedy group from Staten Island, New York. The members are Brian "Q" Quinn, James "Murr" Murray, Joe Gatto and Salvatore "Sal" Vulcano. They are currently stars in the television series, which they created, Impractical Jokers. This series airs on Comedy Central in the UK and on truTV in the US.
The show is a hidden camera-practical joke reality show which is mainly filmed in New York and New Jersey. The guys don't make fun of the public, instead they try to embarrass each other as much as possible by telling each other what to say/do.
This is how every episode starts with the "Warning" sign. When I first started to watch it I thought the warning was serious. I must admit the things some of them do on the show,  I wouldn't had the guts to do. EVER!
Next are the titles which sort of introduce them. The Tenderloins didn't always have this on there show I think it was brought in around season 3.
This takes me onto what they do, they basically have different challenges each episode (sometimes they repeat the same challenges in other episodes but only if it goes well) that they have to complete but if they can't do it. They loose.
Who ever gets the most losses takes a loss on the whole thing which then ends in a punishment that the other guys have chosen for them. Sometimes they have multiple losers therefore only one of the Jokers chooses the punishment. Some of the punishments are very cringe worthy but that's what makes it funny.
Murr has had to to be naked more than once for a punishment. One time he had to be a nude model, which doesn't sound too bad BUT he had to do whatever the guys told him to do...
The other time was when Joe and Murr lost and they both had to strip in public. It gotten to the point where there underwear was next, Murr was taking too long, in Joe's eyes, therefore he pulled Murr's underwear down for him…

All About Joe:

  • Name: Joe Gatto
  • Born: June 5 1976
  • Best Quote: 'LARRY!' What the video to discover the history of Larry>>>>>>>>>>
  • He has NO shame at all! He never gets embarrassed... for one punishment the guys thought they could make him embarrassed...they were wrong. He had to go into the bathroom of a small cafe/restaurant and open the door wide open and ask for more loo role. He did it and walked out like nothing had happened.

All About Q:

  • Name: Brian "Q" Quinn
  • Born: March 14 1976
  • Best Quote: 'Alright Moustache' (FACT they aren't allowed to film in the shopping market where this happened)
  • To the others he always seems to look homeless, he does a little... he can't seem to pronounce his words under pressure.
  • One of the worst and cruelest punishments Q got was when he had to get his back pack of a dangerous animal. Find out what happened in this video

All About Sal:

  • Name: Salvatore "Sal" Vulcano
  • Born: November 5 1976
  • Best Quote: 'See little girl I will not hesitate to punch you' Now I'm going to have to explain this with a little video of his punishment from a haunted field (he hates them along with, the common cold, cats, traffic, sweat, pointy objects, strong winds, general filth)
  • He ALWAYS falls over laughing and that's the thing that makes me laugh even more

All About Murr:

  • Name: James "Murr" Murray
  • Born: May 1 1976
  • Best Qoute: 'I've got a foolproof plan' However his plans very rarely work...hardly ever
  • He looks like a ferret. He said for 3 seasons he didn't until season 4 when he finally accepted his inner ferret.

Now we are going to move onto some facts about The Tenderloins:
  • They formed in 1999, after they finished college
  • They got the name from embarrassing words Sal made in high school
  • They came up with the idea for Impractical Jokers in Joe and Murr's living room (they lived together for 5 years)
  • The guys have been friends since they were 14
Some facts of Impractical Jokers:
  • It was originally called 'Mission: Uncomfortable'
  • They started filming in 2010, 2 years before it was aired
  • Through season 2 they still did their day jobs then went to film the show
  • The show has become so popular that there are other virsions of the show, such as Mexican jokers, UK Jokers (which only lasted 2 years), Swedish Jokers. Some of them, such as the UK, have a woman in.
Finally I'm going to finish by recommending watching them. They can make you laugh until your sick...which has happened on the show also...poor Q. They can make you laugh when your sad. I love to watch them when I'm ill, however when you have a bad cough it makes it worse but its all worth it!!
I will now leave you with 10 best moments of the show... Please don't die from laughter...

Also leaving you with mine and Mia's favorite challenge, the two way mirror...they must not laugh, while interviewing strangers, meanwhile the guys will be trying there best to make you laugh! Sal will be an easy one, even a fart noise makes him laugh... These men are meant to be 39...maybe not on the inside....

 See you soon....
